Does your HVAC have a warranty? What is covered by the warranty? Knowing the answers to these questions can help save you a lot of time, hassle, and expense if you need emergency HVAC repair services.
At Knight’s Mechanical, we aim to explain the warranty process as clearly as possible, so you know what is and isn’t covered, and how long your warranty is good for. Following are answers to commonly asked questions about our HVAC warranties.
What Is the Difference Between a Warranty on the Parts and a Warranty on the Labor?
A warranty on the parts means that the company that manufactured the various parts of an HVAC unit (i.e., the compressor, furnace, heat exchanger, evaporator coil, etc.) will replace these parts for free if they break down within the time period covered by the warranty.
Knight’s Mechanical provides a warranty on the labor. This means that if the unit isn’t properly installed the first time, we’ll come out and reinstall it at no additional cost.
How Does Your Warranty Compare to That Offered by a Manufacturer?
Most manufacturers offer a one-year warranty on all HVAC parts. At Knight’s Mechanical, we offer a one-year warranty on parts and labor. If anything goes wrong within the time period covered by the warranty, we’ll immediately come to your home (or business), find the root cause of the problem, and fix the issue at no cost.
Which HVAC Brand Names Do You Install?
We work with all major brands, including:
- American Standard
- Carrier
- Goodman
- Trane
- Rheem
- Lennox
- Ruud
- Amana
